A Time with Christ, A.A.

The Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) has changed my life. My first thought of the FTTA was that it was only for people who were very spiritual and wholly given to Christ. But as I was able to be among some of the people who were in or had graduated from the FTTA, I began to realize that they were normal people who wanted to know Christ in a deeper way. This gave me hope. In the middle of pursuing a college education I came to the realization that my life would not mean that much if I did not pursue Christ. And for me, this meant going to the FTTA. Upon completing my education at Washington State University, I moved to Anaheim to begin the FTTA.

At the end of two years of training, it is hard to say what has transpired. Outwardly it may not seem that much has happened, but I believe that within my being there is a greater deposit of the unsearchably rich Christ. The FTTA has trained me in numerous areas of my life: my character, my preaching of the gospel, my studying of the truth, and many other areas as well. One of the primary things that the FTTA has helped me in is my fellowship with the Lord. Particularly, I have learned to always converse with Him no matter what the situation. The most important time of my day is in the morning when I come to have a fresh contact with the Lord. Although I may not always have an exciting time, if I am willing to calm my being and present myself to the Lord by coming to Him in His Word, I am nourished and He is satisfied. I believe that the FTTA has helped me to know the Lord Jesus and His Body in a deeper way.
